Disabled Access Information

GENERAL NOTES

All disabled customers are welcome at Serpentine Sessions, but as it is a greenfield site there are sections of the arena that have uneven ground meaning that sometimes, access is difficult. Stewards however, will be around to assist.

Live Nation provide facilities in the arena to accommodate disabled customer's needs, please see the other headings below. Not all disabled customer's need use of these facilities but we will provide access to whatever is needed and/or a free carer ticket to ensure your stay is comfortable and most of all enjoyable.

Should you have any enquiries regarding the access and facilities at the festival, please call the disabled access ticket line on 020 7195 2133 or email access@serpentinesessions.com - Please do not call this number with general festival enquiries as we will be unable to help.

BOOKING TICKETS

Live Nation manage all disabled customer ticket sales in-house.

We have a Disabled Customers hotline number that patrons can call to book tickets -  It is 020 7195 2133. N.B.  This number is operational Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm only.  Please leave a message should nobody be available and we will call you back.

Every customer that wishes to use the facilities or bring a carer with them will be required to send in documentation supporting their request.  This is to confirm their eligibility and to ensure the support facilities we offer are not being abused.

The most common documentation used for this is a copy of a customer's current DLA award letter. Not all customers in receipt of DLA will need use of the facilities and/or a carer and we will discuss this during the booking process.

Should this not be available for any reason, we would request a letter from their doctor detailing their recommendation for a carer and/or access to the facilities.

ARENA FACILITIES

Access to the arena is via Gate X16.

A viewing platform is available and this has a strict one plus one policy (disabled customer + their carer). Non-disabled customers may be asked to leave the platform when it is busy to avoid overcrowding and we ask all customers to be considerate of others needs.

We will provide access to the viewing platform for all customers that need use of this facility. This includes, though not exclusively, wheelchair users, customers who are unable to stand for long periods and customers unable to be in large crowds.

There are accessible toilets located in most toilet blocks on the site, and specifically by the viewing platform.

CAR PARKING

Car parking will be available for disabled badge holders in the Triangle car park by the Serpentine Bridge.  Spaces are limited and are available on a first come first served basis.

A map showing the location of the car park is available here

Access to this area via Exhibition Road from the South or Bayswater Road from the North side of Hyde Park.

Alternative parking can be found in the Masterpark car park on Park Lane.
